Participation – projet photographique du secteur (mars-mai 2011)

Mené par les artistes Caroline Hayeur, Frederik Froument et Noémie Letu, ce projet photographique propose de rendre visible et réelle l’activité culturelle et artistique de ce secteur en soulignant sa singularité. Il s’agit de «tirer le portrait» des créateurs et des espaces qu’ils occupent afin d’en révéler toute la richesse et, par le fait même, la nécessité de leur maintien dans le quartier. Les artistes espèrent ainsi participer à la pérennisation des ateliers et des lieux créatifs tout en partageant avec la communauté notre passion pour le quartier.

Led by neighbourhood artists Caroline Hayeur, Frederik Froument and Noémie Letu, this photographic project wishes to make visible and tangible the breadth of artistic and cultural activities and highlight their uniqueness. This project seeks to dress a portrait of creators and their work spaces to reveal the richness, as well as the necessity to maintain their presence in the neighbourhood. The artists wish to participate in the long-term conservation of creative and cultural spaces, while sharing with the community their fondness for the neighbourhood.
